You are currently viewing How dancing is good for your mental health

In honor of National Dance Day today, below is a little treat for you. But before you watch the video, a few fun facts on dancing and mental health:

  1. Dancing improves your attitude and mood
  2. Dancing releases chemicals in your brain that can ease anxiety and depression
  3. Dancing can increase your creativity
  4. Dancing can protect your memory especially if you are learning and memorizing new movement
  5. Dancing is a great way to strengthen your immune system

These are just a few reasons why you should do this challenge for the next 7 days… and then another 7 days… and then another 7 days… you get my point.

Put on a good song at least twice in the next 7 days and move your body!
