We can do this together
My approach with clients is collaborative.
I provide education on the process of therapy and what works for the presenting problems. And we work together to identify what you need and develop coping tools.

NOTE: Group therapy is an affordable type of counseling that involves 5 to 8 people working through their problems together facilitated by a mental health professional.

Consultation
- Family members seeking support for their loved ones who are mentally ill
- For example: I have been fortunate to consult with African immigrants in the U.S. who have relatives locally or back home in Africa to help them understand how to best help their loved ones. Sometimes they have needed more education on the mental health issue, they wanted to know what they could do from afar, or they needed resources to help them.
- Professionals working with African immigrant individuals and/or communities
- We can all attest to the fact that culture matters. You may be great at your skill in working with people but if you don’t understand their cultural context, it can be difficult to work well together. I offer consultations for those working with African populations who would like to understand their cultural context.
- Individuals seeking help with their career path and wanting to know resources to assist them.
- I enjoy career consultations to provide people with resources on career exploration or discussing considerations around their career path
- Career consultations may take 1 to 3 sessions
- Family members of older adults
- I have worked in geriatric facilities for over 2 years and seen multiple older adults with various family situations. I will be happy to help families think through how to most effectively care for their loved ones that are older.
- Your choice! What do you need to consult about?
The cost for consultations:
Begins at $125 per consult
Workshops
- For African immigrant communities
- For churches/Christian organizations
- For general mental health education purposes
- Prior to each workshop, I like to meet with those requesting to have a better understanding of your organization’s needs and concerns.
- We will also discuss my charge per workshop.
- If you need me to travel to you, please expect to take care of the travel expenses.
- My workshops are educational and interactive! We learn and we practice what we learned.
- Fill out a contact form if you would like me to do a workshop for you.
The cost per workshop:
Starts at $500
